Alishan Organic Center covers the Alishan tea region of Chiayi County and the certification standards that govern organic production.
The site has two subjects and they meet on the same slope. One is a mountain range in central Taiwan with a cloud belt, a forest railway built in 1912, and a tea growing area above a thousand metres. The other is the machinery behind a word: the EU organic regulation, the USDA National Organic Program, Taiwan's Organic Agriculture Promotion Act of 2018, the three-year conversion period, and the annual inspection that keeps a certificate alive.
Pages are grouped into five sections. Where a study is described, the page says what it measured, what it found and when — including where it found no difference.
