Description:
Soybeans are power packed nutritionally, but some say lack in flavor. Fortunately Soy beans take on other tastes well and can be turned into tofu, tempeh, shoyu, TVP, and other commercial products. One of my favorites is to ad a little mashed Soybean into soups, breads or spreads. This bean is the only complete protein by itself. At 40% protein and 20% lecithin(which is essential to every cell in the body) this bean should be on every ones menu a few times a week. takes a while to cook. 1 cup bean to 4 cups water for 3 hours. |
