Bring your Yeast To Life!
Offering three varieties of baking yeast, you're bound to field a few questions.
Here are some hints for making the most of each. Which one best suits your baking needs? |
|
G12 Alishan Dry Yeast
Mix a tablespoon or so of warm water (a portion of whatever the recipe calls for) with yeast and a tablespoon of yeast feeder (maple syrup, honey, malt or sugar work nicely) and set aside some place cozy (under the kotatsu, for example) fifteen minutes before using. Refriderate after opening.
