How Our On-line Shopping Works.
You can enter the Online Store via the Online Shopping or Specials link to your left. Once in the store, browse through product listings by clicking on the name of the product catagory you are interested in. This will give you a complete list of all the products in that category. You can add 1 item to your cart by clicking the Add to Basket button. If you wish to add more than 1 item please change the Quantity number before clicking the "add" button.
As you add items to your basket you will see a running total of your purchase on the bottom lower left of your screen. This gives you a running tally and lets you know how close you are to free shipping (¥18,000 and over). Preview your cart by clicking on the drop down bar. This should show a full list of everything you've added to your basket.
If you ordered something by mistake or need to make changes, please click the Reveiw Basket link. This will provide an opportunity to make changes to the items you have ordered. If you want to buy more of an item already in your basket simply change the quantity and click the Update button. To remove an item, simply click Remove. Clicking the Reset Shopping Basket button will empty all of the contents, and you will have to start all over again. Careful with that one. (Please note that all discounts may not be reflected in your shopping cart total price. If you'd like to confirm your OFFICIAL total before shipping, please leave us a message to that effect with your order.)
Finally, to process your order, click Check Out. This will show you your complete order and provide an order form. If you are a NEW customer, please fill out the form completely. If you have ordered with us before, and there have been no changes to your address etc, you can simply provide the personal information and shipping instructions. When you have filled out the form, click the Send Order button (you may have to scroll down to see it), and you will have sent us your order.
We will contact you to confirm the order within 48 hours. If you don't hear from us, please feel more than welcome to call us and find out what's up.

On food orders less than ¥18,000, the shipping charges are as follows:
Kanto area........................ ¥370
The rest of Honshu.......... ¥475
The rest of Japan............. ¥525
SPECIAL HANDLING
Items shipped cool (during warm weather): Extra ¥525 per order (not per item)
Items shipped frozen: Extra ¥840 per order (not per item)
(If you order both cool and frozen and all the cool items can be frozen, we will do
that and save you money. Cheeses shouldn't be sent frozen, but soy cheeses can.)
DISCOUNTS
Orders totalling over ¥18,000: FREE BASIC SHIPPING and 3% Off Order Total
Orders totalling over ¥40,000: FREE BASIC SHIPPING and 5% Off Order Total
Any Product Ordered by the Case: 5% Off
(That's a matched set of 36 juice boxes, 27 small soymilks, 24 beers, 15 flour tortillas or 12 of most other items. Case quantities to be added to web listings VERY VERY SOON.)
NOTE ON DISCOUNTS
The discounts are subtracted in the following order:
5% case discount
Free shipping for orders over 18,000yen (including prices of unavailable items)
3% discount for orders over 18,000yen (NOT including unavailable items)
5% discount for orders over 40,000yen (NOT including unavailable items)
