My cart doesn't work. Why?
The internet has become a fairly chaotic entity. With all the different computer platforms, browsers, computer settings, etc, it is almost impossible for the designer to know what a visitor will be using to access any given page. We can guess...but it is still just a guess. In order to use the Tengu Natural Foods Shopping Cart there are a few things that must be done.
1. Cookies must be enabled.
2. A current browser that can display frames must be used. Actually, those are probably the only real requirements. We suggest that users that are having trouble with the cart try it with both popular browsers. If it doesn't work with Netscape, try Internet Explorer. If problems persist , please contact our web person, and please give the following details...
1. your browser and opporating system
2. how far into the order proccess you got
3. a description of the problem with any error messages that appeared.
In your browser menu you should have a preference panel, or an user settings panel. Inside this panel should be an option for cookies. You should be able to set this option to refuse or accept (with variations) cookies. Choose your preffered setting, and click OK, Enter,etc. Internet explorer On the mac would look like this ( this vary from system to system and browser to browser ).
I can't send e-mail. Why?
Are you connected to the internet? Just kidding...but sometimes it's the simple things. Make sure that you have configured your browser to send e-mail. Again, go to the preferences, or settings, etc and look for an e-mail option. Fill this in with the information required (as provided from your ISP) and you should be on your way. However, sending the the Tengu Order form should not be launching your e-mail program as it is sending your information to a script. If you are continuing to have trouble please contact the webperson.
None of the Product Info pages pop up.Why?
This function is a Java Script that opens another window to display info about a particular product. I fyou re using an older browser odds are it is not able to perform the script. Please make sure you have a current browser that has Java Script enabled.
How do I enable javaScript?
If you have been reading from the very top of this page, this may sound familiar, but essentialy it is the same process. In your browser choose preferences, settings, etc. from the browser menu. You will need to look for something like "web content" or scripting. In Internet Explorer for Mac you need to click web content and then check off enable scripting from the bottom part of the page. You may need to just look through them all until you find it. PLEASE NOTE that JavaScript and JAVA are not the same! back to top

We're sorry that you are having trouble with our site, and we encourage you to send an email to our web person so that he can try to fix the problem. In the mean time we have downloadable pdf's of our catalog, order form, news letter, and Christmas Flyer. Feel free to download them and read them from your computer. We would also be more than happy to send you any information you may need. Just e-mail us or call and we will take care of it right away.

What is PDF?
PDF stands for Portable Document Format, and is a technology developped and promotted by Adobe. This format allows users to read documents that they have downloaded from a web site, etc. If you want to be able to take advantage of the PDF format you will need a copy of Adobe's free Acrobat Reader. This can be downloaded from Adobe.com, and comes on many sofware installers and as part of many OS packages. get Acrobat Reader.
